Consider This – Get Students Attention
I have been sending out a weekly announcement along with reminders each week to my
Foundation of Math class. I try to keep in mind that they are also getting this information from
their other courses. It’s a lot to go through and keep track of for them. Their next test is
coming up, so I wanted to include an image of studying and asking for help when needed! It’s a
challenge to get students to email me for help and use the College peer tutoring resources. The
goal is to break up all the text and information and catch their attention. Given the very diverse population at the College, I would like to find some images with a range of diverse individuals.
