I teach Occupational Health & Safety to students as part of a Human Resources Management program. I selected this photo of a lighthouse as the purpose of a lighthouse is to signal to passing ships there is danger if they come to close to land and hit the rocks. The point of a safety program is to bring dangerous situations to the attention of workers, much like the lighthouse. The cite, creator and license is included in the name of the attached photo. I believe showing this photo to my students will help them understand their role is to guide people to safety.
