Curator – Website Image
Note: I work in a library and do not deliver or design any courses; however, this activity can be applied to online resources, such as LibGuides that students and faculty can access.
In this case, I wanted a few images to help break up text on my LibGuide on how to research and write, particularly on the Web Resources page. On this page, I wanted an image that represented “websites”. My favourite openly licensed stock photos come from Pexels, so this is where I started to look, using various search terms related to “websites”. Using some Boolean operators and some simple terms, I came up with this list: computer AND website, computer screen, website, laptop screen, etc., and found the following stock image of a person navigating a website on their laptop.
