I watched Death by PowerPoint (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwpi1Lm6dFo) by David Phillips. It is such a thought provoking video that has changed how I construct my Powerpoint presentations. In relation to note taking, I hate being forced to follow any set format. I teach note talking in university program and we used to force students to use Cornell and it just didnt work. I think it is okay to provide students with different ideas about note taking, I do not think students should be forced to follow a set format
