Find Your Fit – ECE
As an Early Childhood Educator, I have access to many resources. We have the College of ECE’s which provide the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, the Ministry of Education provides access to the Kindergarten program document as well as many other resources on child development. However, none of these can be adapted in any way. I have found it challenging to find suitable open teaching resources, specifically textbooks. I recently found the Social Sciences Libre Text website which has a variety of textbooks and resources specific to the field of Early Childhood Education. I will be using the Observation and Assessment textbook for a course in the Winter semester.
