I have been working on this ‘experiment’ for a number of weeks, and it has been a tedious, but rewarding effort. The content that I linked is a practice quiz that I created for the students to prepare for one of their codes tests (they must memorize a list of International Air Transport Association designator codes for airlines, airports, and currencies in the Western Hemisphere). It is embedded into the course shell as a study tool.

With the support of our College’s OER Design Studio, I was able to be matched with an Instructional Designer to create many more H5P interactives. We collaborated on designing drag & drops, and hotspots, which are being uploaded to the eCampus catalogue now.

Finally, we have an H5P embedded into every unit of the course, with IATA codes included in the hotspots interactives to assist the students with geographically locating them on maps and not just memorizing them by name. If I had to do this all by myself it would have taken months. I hope to continue working with H5P to increase my proficiency and make the most of this tool.
