For the final assignment in my “Feature Writing” course, students would interview sources and write a 2,500-word article on a topic presented to them – one they can enhance and to which they can add their own creativity. Using a Padlet board, I would invite students to select the type of topic they would like to focus on, and connect their posts (using Padlet’s posting capabilities) with ideas on what news angles they would use, who they would use as sources, and how their final product would be structured.
