How might I reimagine what this online asynchronous format might look like to promote a sense of belonging and engagement for online learners?

I will incorporate Flipgrid into my asynchronous courses, to promote that sense of belonging and engagement between myself and the students. This is a way for students to introduce themselves and have ongoing discussions about course material and topic ideas. They could then reply to their peers’ posts. I like this idea, as a video might make it more humanizing than written discussion board posts. Flipgrid is Constructivist, Collaborative, Integrative, Reflective and Inquiry Based Learning.
