Define – My students feel disconnected from each other and myself in the online asynchronous learning environment. How might I reimagine what this online format might look like to promote a sense of belonging and engagement for these online learners?

I would like to incorporate Flipgrid into my asynchronous courses, to promote that sense of belonging and engagement between myself and the students. I would like to incorporate it throughout the semester as a way for students to introduce themselves and have ongoing discussions about course material and topic ideas. They could then reply to their peers’ posts. I like this idea, as a video might make it more humanizing than written discussion board posts.
