I really enjoyed learning more about SoTL and ways in which we can make improvements to the student learning experience. I am still a bit confused about the line between professional development and tweaking and making regular incremental improvements and needing to seek REB approval. I think my challenge is in trying to deliniate the difference between day-to-day forms of feedback that we get from students (all of which have opportunities for power differential and personal impact) and untertaking a formal research approach. That said, this does open the door for a chance to speak with the research teams in our organizations.

I’m quite excited about undertaking this work – and I really enjoyed reading many of the other proposals that have been put forward. We have an awesome community of innovators who really appear to care!
