“Like Driving a Car” Activity
For me, driving a car connected a lot with automation of driving skills. How they are worked out and fixed. So that in the event of every emergency situation (and they happen every minute on the roads), these practiced skills will allow you to focus on it. For my discipline (“Quantitative Foundations for Business”), such a concept is the calculations and their automation. It could be achieved by numerous repetitions and consolidation of mathematical rules on various examples. This is facilitated by a well-thought-out and pre-planned homework structure. I give homework after every class and pay a lot of attention to checking it and answering emails with the questions according to the calculations in the homework. It helps me to overcome the lack of time allotted for the study of each topic and hone the students’ calculation skills.
