My metaphor for teaching is a bonfire. The teacher is like this person who throws wood into the fire. Wood is like new knowledge, motivation for learning, and incentive to study for students. Bonfire is students’ success. If the teacher is a professional then he/she knows how to make a big flame of a bonfire.
