The nugget I chose was from Patch 27 – Promoting Disagreement

Promoting disagreement may seem like a strange topic because disagreement is often associated with rudeness or awkwardness in social settings. If this was your first thought, you’d be absolutely right. Socially, it’s not always the best idea to disagree.

Disagreeing is a good thing! When done correctly, lines of communication are opened. New ideas and innovation are shared. When done incorrectly, the results can be arguing and confrontation. Subsequently, a great deal of time can be wasted, especially in meetings and project work. The goal is to be able to disagree agreeably in order to increase the level of understanding and decrease the level of conflict. In order to do that we have to try honestly to see things from the other person’s point of view.
