Using Mindmup, I have laid out a plan to help myself and the students follow a path to not only discover what is at the heart of an employee’s sudden misbehaviour, but to contemplate the various forces at play that may be influencing the behaviour and in turn need your attention.

Going back to the iceberg photo I described in the “Misunderstood” activity, becoming a seasoned investigator and interviewer is key to unearthing the invisible forces behind an employees behaviour in the workplace. Students need to learn key skills that make them successful in the field of Human Resources Management and Occupational Health & Safety. Some of these skills include listening, asking key questions, asking open-ended questions, note taking and problem solving.
