Creating a mind map for a syllabus was a very cool way to ensure the scaffolding learning was in fact happening in this course.  What I struggled with in my mind map was I wanted to include a “parent node” that encompassed all the “child nodes” and I wanted it to be the WIIFM – the final assignment where they put everything together and create their own theory…their way of being, their practice.  I just couldn’t figure out how to actually accomplish that in the map. I loved this exercise.
