Tech Tool Survey – Mentimeter Wins
I created a survey for my colleagues about their use of technology tools in the classroom. I created the same survey using Poll Everywhere, MS Forms and Mentimeter and then tried each out on my cell phone as a participant. Each tool permits creation of the survey on a mobile device as well and are somewhat similar in terms of ease of use for the builder.
I prefer Forms and Menti over Poll Everywhere because of the ease of access when sharing links. I found it a bit easier with Menti with the option to use a URL and enter a code or just scan a QR code that takes you to the survey. Menti also provides more variety with the type of questions and is more visually appealing. Forms is nice because it provides an excel spreadsheet of results if that is what you need.
