Creating a visual representation of one of my course syllabi was a very interesting experience. Personally, I like the traditional table view of my syllabus where lessons, assignments and project milestones are aligned in a relatively linear fashion, but I can see how mapping it out visually may highlight and compartmentalize various aspects of my course for students. If this were for a live course, I would include organizing some information by dates to show how everything is aligned so students can plan out their semester and recognize due dates for assignments and the course project. I used a tool called Miro and found it incredibly easy to use. There are dozens of collaborative features that would make this app a very valuable collaboration tool and I highly recommend it.
