I enjoyed this activity.  One of the struggles my students have is in creating teams.  It can be awkward, and teams don’t know what to do when they first sit together.  I’ve used Whiteboard before for quick things, but I would not have thought about creating something comprehensive or adding images.

I created a Whiteboard to allow the teams to self-enrol in groups.  I made one group for those who are open to joining any team.  I’ll use this a bit like a buddy bench and add those team members together or into teams that have formed themselves.

I added a fun activity at the beginning to make the students comfortable on Whiteboard.

Whiteboard is part of Teams, and they will be using Teams for the remainder of the semester, so this activity is beneficial.

Finally, I added some activities for the newly formed groups to do, based on a template I found on Whiteboard; these include setting their project goals and expectations of each other.
