For the first assessment in my Goals and Motivation course I always ask students what they are excited to learn about in this course. Based on their answers, I try to incorporate what they’ve said if it hasn’t already been included. This course is one that I think has a lot of personal relevance and students learn a lot about themselves. I also hope that they learn many tools that they can use in the future. I think a lot of them choose the course as they hope there will be a lot in it for them!
