Activity grading or adapting to achieve the just right challenge is a cornerstone concept in the field of occupational therapy that can be confusing and easily misunderstood by students. I would like to try using a track and field race as an analogy for grading and adapting activity so students recognize the challenge or race has to be fair and achieveable.
