Using a digital slide software to teach microanatomy allows all the students to learn at their own pace and interaction between the student and the instructor on a specific tissue remains constant as they are viewing the same slide in real time on their own devices.  Specific questions can be answered and the pace of each student navigating through the slides is not controlled, allowing everyone to work at their own pace.
