I think using digital images is effective for helping students learn new terminology. As fine art students, musicians are creative and many benefit from alternative styles of learning beyond just read/write. Using an image will stimulate their imagination and memory. This will also create an opportunity for the students to present and share their definitions to their peers and collaborate on a larger study glossary.
