I plan to use MS Teams Whiteboard in the classroom, both as an icebreaker, but also for collaborative things like creating groups, and brainstorming.

I like it as even though it is slightly limited in functionality, it has a lot of good sticky note templates for games and problem solving and is part of the Office 365 installation students get.

Your Teaching and Pedagogical Considerations response:

The technology support the learning outcome of both creating teams and the outcome of building confidence with digital tools used in the workplace.

The students should become familiar with MS Teams, and this is part of the tool package available in Teams. Teams is a key tool in many organizations for project management.

Your “Interaction” response:

The technology is dynamic and allows for multiple users to make changes at the same time, facilitating interaction.

There are ice-breakers and games available within the tool to help become familiar with the tools as a class.

Your “Organisational Issues” response:

My institution provides support for many different tools.

I’m unsure if the institution would allow for release time.

This follows the standard technology requirements.

Your “Networking” response:

The technology doesn’t inherently allow for collaboration with users beyond the college, but it does allow for collaboration with anyone in the college.

Your Security and Privacy response:

Security and privacy are ensured due to the MS Office concept adopted for MS 365.
