Patch 4 – Checking in with students
I am thrilled to find how well this patch resonates with me and my teaching style.Personally, I have been using exit reflections asking them to post on a padlet or the 3-2-1 exercise. “Either way, address the exit pass at the beginning of your next class. Consider sharing insightful answers, answering specific questions, and giving students and idea of where the class stands, so that not only do you know how students are doing, but they will, too.” This is something struck on me as I hadn’t considered this before and definitely going to incorporate hereafter.
