Research and the Student Experience
I chose to create an empathy map based on the experiences of third-year students. The course focuses on the role of research in an evidence-based model of care. The students struggle with that need. Initially, they think they have all the competencies they require. Once they start to get into the course they see the material in a different light and have some issues in making connections. The biggest challenge is connecting the theory to practice.
