Reflecting on change, choice and innovation leads us to consider the complexity inherent in these processes. Change is a manifestation of freedom of choice, an act of agency that can trigger transformations of the most diverse types. Individual responsibility in creating meaning and in the search for authenticity shows the importance of choices in the construction of one’s existence. On the other hand, resistance to change and the need to share the meaning of action are generally present. Recognizing, accepting and adopting new practices are not always linear, but rather influenced by emotional and social factors. Therefore, it is worth reflecting on what has influenced our choices.
