I found a great article that appealed to me: “Life-Based Writing as a Student Engagement Tool.” I created a slide with a quote from the article in the centre of the page and then a series of images surrounding it.  I attempted to make it look similar to a scrap book, because that is what I felt the concept of the article was talking about — using the scraps of our lives and experiences to better connect us to the material we are learning in class.
