One line that resonated with me was “Start with a good rapport.” I think this is extremely important when it comes to teaching and learning. It demonstrates the invitational theory, where we invite the learner into the space of learning. A good rapport will assist in the creation of a safe and open learning environment and allow the students to be “ready” for their learning.
