It would be communicating the definition of a project…. project management. * It is temporary in nature * It has a start and end date * It produces a unique product or service All three must be true for it to be considered a project.

Most of the students in my project management class are from Asia. I need to convey the concept of a project to them. So I relate it to their most recent experience of coming to Canada.

  • I get examples of when they first started planning their study journey.
  • When did the journey end
  • Was the initiative temporary in nature
  • Was it unique

I want to make it relatable so the example that I use is coming to study in Canada. It has a start and end date, is temporary in nature and is unique.
