The approach I took to cultivating my PLN was to follow #instructionaldesign on Twitter and let the feed guide me to individuals and resources organically, which lead to the cultivation of “nodes” that will serve as the starting point for mapping my PLN. The cultivation of my PLN helped me identify the sources and connections I already have as well as those I seek to add as I continue to enhance my teaching practice with principles of instructional design.
