Does peer assessment and feedback improve skill acquisition?
I am curious about whether using peer assessment and feedback contributes to improved
acquisition of competence. This relates to “improved student outcomes”. Peer assessment is a contentious issue to include in final grades, however the benefits of peer assessment are great. Perhaps there is a way to demonstrate that formative feedback from peers is valuable and worth incorporating into a course.
