Empathy Map: Group Work Online
One of the most common concerns I hear from students when taking my class is around online group work. They often seek to complete group work on their own because they believe it is too difficult to facilitate in the online environment. I believe this is especially important now as we are all moving online.

My students are required to work as a highly interdependent group for a case assignment. One of my groups is struggling right now due to physical and/or mental health issues with at least two of the teammates. I am compassionate and empathetic in that I allowed them to set a deadline for their next deliverable when they thought they would be able to come together and create it. It’s a work-in-progress.
