I hope to start this course off in the fall by polling the students on their attitudes towards the learning outcomes of this course, i.e, why do they think the course is important. I can then compare their list with mine. The course is a semester 6 course, that prepares the students for entry-to-practice upon graduation. As a result, it is important that they are aware of the regulatory obligations of practice.  The content of this course is so much more than “is this on the test?” – but will the students feel the same?
