Moving content from a synchronous workshop into an H5P format.
My learner challenge was that of faculty’s busy schedules given a need for relevant professional development on topics related to remote delivery. My plan was to create a series of interactive videos to capture the content of a PD workshop which is also available synchronously online. The interactive video template that I worked on helped me realize that it was not going to work to simply move the contents of a learner-centred, reflection-filled workshop into a series of videos. Based on feedback from colleagues, I moved to H5P course content as my matrix for recreating one aspect of a PD workshop, complete with reflective opportunities.
