So yeah.  I get this one.  I like to think my teaching style is “a storyteller” at times, I feel that students actually remember a story because it ties an emotion to it.  It is really important to speak from experience and provide examples – but also do not suck up all the O2 in the room.  It’s not a stage – you aren’t in drama class or Broadway.  And you have to know what your students are wanting and needing.  What their goals are, really important.
