After reviewing the Empathy Map and reflecting on the priority items especially in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, I decided with this challenge: How might we increase student participation in team assignments? I noticed that some team members are not able to participate well in team meetings and team assignments. Some are left out leading to low morale and poor participation from some team members. Instead of producing an excellent team solution, some students end up “owning” most of the work and complain while others are content with a mediocre solution provided by other team members.
