To generate discussion with my engineering students on welding personal protective equipment, I searched a number of repositories for articles on real life examples and videos.  I started with Ontario Open https://search.ecampusontario.ca/?k=welding%20&itemTypes=6&sourceWebsiteTypes=3&sortCol=1.  Unfortunately they did not have any applicable articles on welding applications.  I then tried CORE and was pleased to find 2 articles that would generate good discussions.  I have posted one which actually includes death statistics from welding applications which should add a sobering note to the class discussion.  I also tried Merlot and found a YouTube video.  In this search I needed to expand the search to Occupational Safety.
