This was an interesting exercise as I never really have taken the time to think about what motivates my teaching.  I think I could always answer why I chose teaching, but what motivates my choices within my pedagogy, chosen courses, content etc. I watched a ted talks on the importance of having two passions as a teacher…one was the love of the content and second was the love of the students.  This really does wrap up my motivations.
