Three Motivations for SOTLĀ
Three Motivations:
- Renewed personal excitement about teaching, learning and greater self-awareness – As a life long learner I really enjoy staying current in my teaching practices and continuously looking at how to make positive improvements
- Increased student engagement, learning and a broader ability to reach more students – Being open to diverse points of view, asking key questions and active listening help reach a wider audience of learners
- Stronger overall faculty that values teaching, student learning and working as a cohesive team – Teaching is often a solitary role so it is critically important to connect, collaborate and share our knowledge and best practices to ensure greater shared success
