WIIFM?

This is a very useful activity that ushers learners to why they should learn or know a new concept. At first, when learners are not told about the WIIFM points they might not be very keenly interested in knowing or getting the actual insight of the content, or they might be doing the course for the grades or certificates, but after they are enlightened with the WIIFM points, they will definitely show a higher interest in the course material and during the lectures.

I would like to write a few “What’s in it for me?” points based upon a course “Introduction to the Brightspace” :

  1. You will get familiarize with Brightspace and how it works.
  2. You will be able to explore the content in different modules without any confusion regarding the location of content slides or assignment notes, etc.
  3. You will be able to access your quizzes, discussion forums in no time.
  4. You can view your grades and view the compliments from the instructors easily.
