With prototype planning, that’s like an alpha version of something that’s not fit to be released for general consumption.

With essays, writers also do prototype planning.  It’s called a rough draft.

So, I propose to use dictation software for writers to dictate their rough draft.  By no means is it a finished product, but I truly think that technology is used constructively, especially as a strategy against writers block.
