H5P – Image Hotspot Activity

I decided to create this activity to review the concept of SMART Goals. One thing I have spent time on is making my courses more usable for my students. At times this has meant reworking documents to have smaller paragraphs, sentences, more plain language, etc. The benefit though is that students see content as more welcoming and organized and less daunting to read through.

That said, when it comes to some videos, I have always found it difficult to get them down to a shorter timeframe while still getting all of the information across that I want. This image hotspot tool in H5P is a great way to chunk a video into smaller sections. This might mean for a similar amount of overall time but will not be a full 8-10 minute video (even though I would love to have it shorter, 6-8 mins).
