3 Keys – Jenn Harren
- Inquiry – asking questions; any and all. Really digging into the “whys” of what I’m doing as an educator. I.e. are my Learning Objectives lining up with the theories I teach, with assessments, with the approaches I take in asynchronous and synchronous teaching.
- Reflective practice for the educator – taking time to reflect on what I’m teaching. Perhaps going back and looking at outcomes of assessments and did they “hit” the learning objectives; journaling after class about experiences; talking to colleagues about what has worked (and not worked) for them.
- Student learning – the end result should be that students learn something. There are many experiences that can help them learn – making their own mistakes or learning from mine; completing an assignment; being involved in discussion; doing reflective work, etc.
