My metaphor involves teaching / learning as part of a team, with a flock of geese being my reference point. The geese take turns leading each other – they share their gifts and participate together to ensure needs are met. Those who are strong share with confidence, while those who are unsure are surrounded on their journey to becoming knowledge keepers by supportive others / provokers, who are there to coach / mentor / be with as they try things out.
