I teach AP and students struggle with hormones.
I frequently teach the students the endocrine system using Pitch Perfect (although I am going to need to find a new one soon as they are starting to not know the movie)
I make a chart with hypo and hyper thyroid and talk about Amy and Twiggy (making sure that the students know that this is not always the presentation of these diseases). However, the students remember it and often refer to it on their tests.
