Challenge Set Activity
In the teacher training program that I teach, candidates engage in collaborative lesson planning over four consecutive terms, with a focus on mastering the art of writing effective lesson plans for their classes. Throughout this process, I provide targeted feedback to help candidates refine their skills and techniques in lesson plan development. By meeting regularly and addressing specific areas of improvement, candidates gain a deeper understanding of the components of a well-designed lesson plan and learn how to align them with educational objectives in a low-stake environment. This approach empowers candidates to develop confidence and mastery in their ability to create engaging and impactful lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
