Christopher’s CRAAP
This was a good exercise and a good habit to get into with all resources associated with a course. I was just having a conversation with a colleague about about the benefit of OER and the ability for students to adapt it on an ongoing basis. I think the best takeaway from that exercise would be a breakdown of authority. Frequently, people accept what’s written in a textbook as gospel truth and they should be more critical of the content presented there. This exercise would give students a perspective on their own authority and a sense of responsibility in conveying accurate information for future readers.
