This was found using the key words ‘pet scan patient’  
 
This shows the importance of patient positioning in research and emphasized patient comfort during brain scans. This shows the geometry of a PET scanner compared to a gamma camera. It touches on patient comfort as well because the scans take a long time to do and if the patient moves, the scan may be repeated. 
 
As for including diversity – with nuclear medicine being a small field, photos that include diversity are harder to come by. This is something that over time, is hopefully addressed when making them. There is room for either the technologist or patient to be represented to include these values.
