This was a very interesting activity. I was able to find several connections from my College (SLC). But I also have begun following some additional nursing connections through X. One of my classmates in the empowered educator course is also on X and I was able to follow her. However, I am nearing the end of my career. I can see the benefits of these connections, but where I am at now it is hard for me to get too engaged in this. I signed up for this course to try to get re-energized for my last few years. I did not realize (should have looked into it more) that it would be so heavily focused on tech things. I find it all very overwhelming to be honest. Even to find the time to follow others and regularly read X – which I am not in the habit of – feels like another chore when I already feel like there is not enough time in the day.
