My 3 statements that would motivate me to become more engaged in SoTL activities are:

• Faculty development opportunities, and the opportunity to share with colleagues; 
• Knowing that what I am doing is improving my student outcomes and assessment scores;
• Not a renewed excitement, because I am new to teaching, but a continued growing excitement about teaching and learning, and a greater self-awareness about myself and my skills as a teacher.
